The More I See You
Chapter 2
“Oh, no, no, no.  You gotta leave right now.”  I shooed at the bothersome Efferion standing in the middle of my living room.  “Are you trying to kill me?  Get out now!”

“But, if you’ll only hear me out.”  She pleaded.   “I desperately need your help.”  I waved my hands at her and she started to back away from me.

“I don’t care.  You have to leave NOW!”  I dug into my personal abilities and bellowed the command for her to leave and her shape began to fade until she was gone.  I let out a sigh of relieve once I knew she wasn’t there anymore.  She’d been pouring on her power of persuasion and desire, made my head pound and my lower organs ache.  I was fighting all the thoughts of her and me doing things that required zero clothing.  She had tried to flood my brain with this need to get me to do what she wanted.  My mind was a quite a bit stronger than her demanding magic, thank God.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t stop my physical reaction that I felt from her power.  I had to flush these thoughts.  Those sparkling blue eyes, doll-like long blond eyelashes, pouty rosy lips, sumptuous flowing blond curls, and those curves that her clothing only seemed to highlight, I needed to cleanse myself of her.  Damn Efferion!

My own clothing felt too tight.  I was being swallowed by my black leather jacket and suddenly my black skinny pants were entirely too skinny.  I chucked my boots and quickly peeled off my jacket.  Even my black tank was too much for me to wear.  I had to strip.  And I had to do something about the now unbearable ache from in between my legs.  I straight away took care of business and helped myself to relieve me of this sexual tension the Efferion had caused in me.

When I was done, panting and sweaty, I wiped my brow and went off to find some fresh clothing.  I still had an hour before dawn and I aimed to find a new toy that she had denied me of at the bar.  My own attempts were not good enough.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No matter where I went, I’d see her sad face in quick glances.  This had been going on for several nights.  I ignored her attempts and carried out in my regular routines.  I was determined that I wasn’t going to give into her.  Of course, this led to me needing satisfaction every night she appeared.  She really was pushing her power on me.  I think I slept with more girls than I fed while she continued to haunt me.  None of those female humans really did quench my need, only stall it.  My body really wanted her.  I kept seeing her face more and more.  She was driving me insane.

“Alright Efferion,” I had just closed my apartment door behind me.  She’d been trailing me for blocks.  Everywhere I turned, there she was.  I simply couldn’t’ take it anymore.  Damn it, she won.  “Show yourself.  I know you’re here.”

Slowly, the Efferion goddess took shape before me.  She stood with her hands behind her back.  God, I wanted her.  This had to stop.  Her lacy top didn’t leave much of anything to the imagination.
“Say what you have to say.  I am this close to finding a way to remove your head from your shoulders.”
She swallowed hard.  “Please, I like my head where it is.  I’m sorry I had to do this but you’re the only hope I have left.  I need your help Sasha.”
“Yeah, yeah, you said that.”
“I know.”  She quickly replied.  “But I promise I’ll leave after I tell you why.”
“You promise?”  I hoped she could feel the sting of my stare of my irritation.
“Yes, I promise.”
“Well, go on.  I don’t have all night.”
“I’m being held captive by someone who means to see you and all other vampires dead.  He’s using up my power to make himself stronger so that he can come here to kill you and your kind.  He wants to rule this world.”  I raised my eyebrows.  God, my head hurt.
“You can quit it with the magic.  It’s giving me a bloody headache.”
“I’m sorry.  I couldn’t think of any other way to get you to listen to me.  I’ve stopped now.”  I could feel the pressure instantly lift.
“So, who is this captor?”
“A Murdo.  Jimmy.”  I nearly choked on my own saliva.
“Jimmy, the brother of Vinsan, the one I killed?  That’s who you shacked up with?  You got some freaky taste lady.”  A demon, yikes.  Efferions really had no standards.
“He kidnapped me.  As if I’d ever willingly go near ones of them.  And my name is Annalise, not lady.”  Oh, why did she have to tell me her name?  I had remnants of my thoughts her floating about in my brain.  The sound of her name clamored around in between my ears and somehow nestled south between my thighs.  I shook my head to try to clear it.
“You’re honestly expecting me to do something, to believe you?  As if I want to try to challenge one of those bastards on my own.  You really must have lost your mind.  You probably just want to teach your boyfriend a lesson or something or maybe you want me dead, hell if I know.  Do you really expect me to suit up and kill the devil?  And with what armor or weapon would you have me do this with?  Vinsan destroyed all of that.  He only left me with the hilt and the shredded remains of my mail.  Am I supposed to claw at him and expect him to not rip me to tiny bits?”  I shook my head again.  She had to be crazy.
“Oh, I can fix that.”
I held my hands up.  “Don’t do me any favors.”  I really did mean that.  “Alright.  You’ve said your piece now off with you.”
“You mean you’re not going to even consider helping me?  All of your lives are in danger.  After he kills me, which won’t be long from now, he’s coming for you.”
“You made a promise, now go.  I listened to you so you have to leave.”
“But-“  I cut her off.
“Leave.  Now.”  She swallowed hard again.
“Ok.”  She said with a sad nod and faded away into nothing.  I collapsed into the chair, my thoughts a jumble.  Should I believe her or not?  What should I do?  Or should I do nothing at all?

  3. Okay, now I'm ready... This is getting good... now that I'm done with my own story, I can't wait to delve into this one... This is the kind of story you sit down with a bowl of popcorn, and you don't stop reading 'till the whole bowl is empty... Very well written, and if you'll excuse me I have several more chapters to catch up on. :)
